Will my hair grow back thicker?
No. Vellus hair grows back exactly the same, soft and fine, and it won’t become darker or coarser.
How often should I have it?
Every four weeks works well, in line with your skin’s natural renewal cycle.
Does it hurt?
Not at all. It’s a relaxing treatment and most people describe it as a light scraping sensation.
What’s the post-treatment care?
Avoid heat, exfoliants and active ingredients such as retinol for 48 hours, and wear SPF every day as your skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
Who isn’t it suitable for?
We don’t recommend dermaplaning over active acne, skin infections or sunburn. We’ll check your skin before we begin.
